Semi-Olympic Swimming Pool Construction at Sayari School, Ruiru

Pool Life Swimmers completed a 25m × 12.5m semi-Olympic swimming pool at Sayari School in Daykio Bustani, Ruiru. We managed the project from the initial site excavation through pool construction, plumbing, equipment installation, finishing and commissioning.

The project also included a baby swimming pool alongside the main pool. This gives the school a swimming facility that can accommodate different age groups and swimming activities.

A Complete Swimming Pool Construction Project

The Sayari School project involved the complete construction of a large school swimming facility. Our team coordinated the different stages of the project from the initial site works to the completed pool.

First, we prepared the site and carried out the required swimming pool excavation. We then progressed with the construction of the main pool structure and installation of the required plumbing systems.

Because of the pool’s 25m × 12.5m dimensions, careful planning was important. We coordinated the pool structure, plumbing and water circulation systems to create a functional swimming facility for the school.

Swimming Pool Plumbing and Circulation

Pool Life Swimmers handled the swimming pool plumbing as part of the construction works. We installed the pipework required for water circulation and connected the system to the pool equipment.

Proper plumbing plays an important role in the operation of a large swimming pool. Therefore, we planned the pipework alongside the construction and equipment installation rather than treating it as a separate stage.

Pool Equipment Installation

We also handled the swimming pool equipment installation for the Sayari School project.

Our team coordinated the equipment with the pool’s plumbing and circulation system. We then tested the systems before commissioning the completed swimming facility.

This approach allowed us to manage the major technical components of the project under one construction team.

Tiled Swimming Pool Finish

The main pool features a tiled interior finish. The tiles provide a clean and practical surface for a school swimming facility while giving the completed pool a finished appearance.

We completed the pool finishing as part of the overall construction process. This allowed the structural works, plumbing, equipment and finishing stages to work together from the beginning.

Baby Swimming Pool

In addition to the main 25m × 12.5m semi-Olympic swimming pool, Pool Life Swimmers constructed a dedicated baby swimming pool alongside it.

The separate baby pool provides a shallower swimming area for younger children. It also allows the school to organize swimming activities for different age groups within the same facility.
